What TWI students are saying
We asked 3rd -5th grade students at Colfax Elementary School in
Denver what yoga is. Below are a few of their answers.
Yoga is:
- to calm you down. And if you have stress on your mind it will clear your
head.
- something that makes you healthy and strong.
- a place where you relax.
- when you calm your madness and get exercise.
- about getting happy.
- something that helps your body have more energy.
- a way to express yourself.
- concentration and being focused.
- something you can do to feel peaceful.
- to concentrate in your imagination.
- like exercise but different. Yoga makes you healthy.
