Overview

Join The Wellness Initiative on Saturday, May 1, as Richard Freeman, Trista Hollerbach, Matt Kapinus, Jeanie Manchester and Tina Aisner Porter guide you through our first annual Yogathon at Boulder High School. This all-levels yoga event will help us raise much-needed funds to support our yoga-based wellness programs in Colorado's low-income schools.

Teen and adult participants will complete up to 108 sun salutations (you don't have to do them all!), guided through the poses by some of Colorado's most respected yoga instructors. Meanwhile, children ages 5 through 12 will participate in a "Yoga Safari", during which we will offer fun, challenging, and safe yoga activities.

Space is limited, so register now!

The registration fee for children, teens, and adults is $20 per participant until 4/24, when it goes up to $35 for adults. You can participate as an individual or with a team.

After you register, you can start collecting pledges! The Wellness Initiative depends on donations to fund its yoga programs, so we're asking each individual participant or family to raise $108 in pledges. But, please come even if you won't be able to raise pledges - we definitely don't want you to miss this exciting event.

During the event, you can enjoy yummy snacks, coffee and tea, and other goodies from our sponsors. And you'll have the opportunity to receive free massages and mat cleaning.
